Hi, my name is Stephanie and I am a Chemistry major from Houghton College. Audrey Pocock from Houghton College recently contacted me informing me that I am a recipient of your Assistance Limited scholarship. I wanted to thank you for this scholarship as it meant a lot to me. At the beginning of the summer, I received an email saying that I was being charged an extra $2000 for an error in my financial aid package from last year. Before I registered for classes for the fall semester, I had carefully budgeted what I could afford to take based on what I paid last year and what I expected to earn from my full-time summer job. Thus an extra $2000 was unexpected and caused a lot of stress as I did not know how I was going to pay for it. Your scholarship was truly a blessing and an answer to a prayer.
